“Glenn Tunstull does beautiful work, when you look at his oils and watercolors you are immediately drawn in by his beautiful use of color and are taken to another place. He has a unique style that works whether he has painted people sitting on a beach in Martha’s Vineyard or on the streets of Paris. His work is a joy to collect and have in any space. Glenn is very knowledgeable in his field and able to relay his knowledge in a clear and easily understandable way.”

“Glenn Tunstull’s work is exquisite and reminds you of the early impressionists and those who were experts in watercolors. His work is collectible,

“I have known and respected Glenn Tunstull for most of my life as we went to the same High School in Detroit, Michigan-he had started his career in New York as an Fashion Illustrator for Women’s Wear Daily, while I admired his work as a high school student.
Glenn was legendary in my school for his success at W.W.D. and I looked forward to seeing his beautiful illustrations every day!
He is one of the foremost Fashion illustrators and also is a great painter as well.
He is among the highest regarded teachers at Parsons and I am proud to be amongst his colleagues.”

Hi Glenn,

It’s Dr. Monte Harris, plastic surgeon from DC who is a proud new owner of an exceptional Tunstull work of art! I’m actually sitting home right now reading the article in the Style section of the Post. I was proud to see the mention of you and your art. The future is Bright. Please reach out if you come to DC. I’d like to show you my office…and discuss my approach for enhancing “authentic” beauty.

Life is Good,

Monte

Wow….your style has really evolved since you first started! it’s incredible how even though your painting is in an impressionistic pointilism style, you capture the light and details so perfectly. I am tempted to say realistically, but its not realism. Bravo!

Thank you for getting in touch with me.  I will be thinking about which one this week.  Really hard to make a decision as there isn’t one of your watercolors I wouldn’t love to own.  My taste in art is eclectic.  I tend to like landscapes, botanical and old world masters, with a little bit of whimsy thrown in for good measure.

Your watercolors are so realistic it’s like being there.  I don’t pretend to understand the science of art………………..composition, shading, etc……………I just know what a piece says to me.  It is a blessing to be able to express yourself in such a beautiful medium.

Hi Glenn,

I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed this course and how I unbelievably happy  I am that I got you both as my teachers. This summer program went beyond my expectations and I learnt more in that one month then I thought I could. I am so thrilled with how the course went and it was such an amazing experience! You both are phenomenal teachers and I am so happy that I got the chance to meet you.  Have a great summer!
